Quilt Appraisals will be available at the show for $55 (cash or check). Appraisals will be conducted by Denise Bartosh and typically take 30 minutes. They can be for quilts brought in or hung at the show. Denise Bartosh is an AQS certified appraiser of quilted textiles, award-winning quilter, quilt lecturer, quilt historian, quilt collector, quilt restorer, and has served as a quilt show judge. In addition, Denise is a member of many guilds and quilt-related organization, including the American Quilter’s Society, National Quilt Museum, Professional Association of Appraisers of Quilted Textiles, American Quilt Study Group, Quilter’s Guild of Dallas, Garland Quilt Guild, and Austin Area Quilt Guild.

Denise has also published a storybook quilt pattern, Cover Your Child with Love, based on the children’s book, That’s How Love Is by Joan Howes. In addition, Denise and Joan have published the Simply Unique Jackets by Joan pattern. Denise is driven by an incredible passion for quilts and their makers throughout the strands of time.
